WELCOME to Rio Rancho’s very own pottery painting and art studio! We are so excited to be an active part of our community and provide a place for everyone to participate, learn, and express themselves in a variety of art techniques!~Shannon
Painting your own pottery is so simple: anyone at any age can do it! We have pieces ranging in size from small ornaments to large serving bowls and platters, from $3-$75 (most people spend $16-25). Simply come in, choose your plain piece of bisque (pottery) and find a relaxing seat where you can paint to your heart’s content without the worry of studio fees or wasted paint fees. We make it convenient by providing basic paint (underglaze) colors at each table with a vase showing the coordinating color painted with the recommended 3 coats (for opaque) and fired samples to choose from, plus we have additional colors (almost every color available to us) as well as writers and puff-paint!
Our prices shown on each piece are all-inclusive*, meaning they cover the cost of your piece, the paint and supplies, the time and place to paint, and the glazing and firing of your piece, which is typically ready within a week.
